Warehouse Assistant

£15,000 - £23,000

Purpose:

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the warehouse team. You will uphold the company’s commitment to reliability and excellence by adopting a proactive approach to control the shifting demands and to assist with the timely execution of order dispatch. Additionally, your exceptional organisational skills, accurate attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction in this capacity.

Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will contribute to addressing operational challenges and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. By implementing best practices, you will help optimise and increase warehouse output, ultimately fostering growth and supporting business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Support order fulfilment by picking and packing orders to a high level of accuracy, ensuring items are correctly labelled, packaged and prepared for shipment.

  • Assist with stock replenishment, monitor stock levels during order processing and report any discrepancies or faults to the Team Coordinator.

  • Inspect items for damage or defects prior to packing, confirming only quality items are dispatched to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Comply and follow warehouse safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Collaborate and work effectively within the team to prioritise and meet daily schedules and deadlines, adapting to changing priorities when required.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and process accuracy, including updating inventory, systems and completing shipping manifests.

  • Assist with receiving and unpacking incoming returns and failed shipments as required.

  • Understand and effectively communicate with varying departments within the business to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities and operation fulfilment.

Package:

  • £15,000 - £23,000 (Depending on experience).
